Though I sought idealism, the path I chose to attain it was corrupt. Rather than heed the words of my trusted brothers and vassals—or anyone for that matter—I followed my own egotism and foolishly imperiled my kingdom. Never again shall I be courted by sin.

Evolved

A powerful state can't be based on affection alone, but by engendering support for the ruler's ideals. Wales must be fortified by revitalizing the economy and accepting new cultures—but only to that end, and no further.
